Stripix

About

Stripix converts, cleans and reads photos and PDFs on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android without uploading them: HEIC to JPG and other formats, photos to one PDF, compress to an exact file size, remove GPS location, and get the text out of photos and PDFs with on-device OCR.

Who is it for?

People who send photos and documents to forms, portals and marketplaces: students, online sellers, people applying for visas or jobs, small offices, and iPhone users whose photos won't open on Windows.

The problem

Online converters and OCR sites require uploading private photos, IDs and contracts to someone else's server. Stripix does the same jobs on the phone, works in airplane mode and needs no account.

How it works

Pick photos or PDFs from the photo library, Files or the Share menu, choose a tool and its settings, see the result size before starting, then save to Photos or Files, or share.

Key features

• Get the text out of photos and PDFs with on-device OCR
• Convert HEIC, RAW, WebP and AVIF to JPG or PNG
• Turn photos into one PDF; merge, split and compress PDFs
• Compress photos to an exact size and remove GPS location

What makes it different

Everything runs on the device: no server, no account, no ads, works in airplane mode. The only network call is the store purchase check.

Use cases

• A form or visa portal accepts only a 200 KB JPG
• iPhone photos need to open on Windows
• A receipt or page needs to become editable text
• A photo is posted online and its location should stay private
