About Trisynapse

Trisynapse is a local-first, BYOK AI research workspace. The app turns scattered papers, PDFs, bookmarks, notes & videos into a private digital brain. Trisynapse auto-summarizes, maps concept graphs, and compiles sources into auto-updating wikis. You can work seamlessly with a built-in split-view Browser, local retrieval Chat, AI Assistants, and infinite Canvas whiteboards for note-taking. ALl the data is stored locally.

<Background> I started working on this for myself. Over the past 6 months, I’ve been learning areas like RL, agentic AI, and LLMs. At some point, I couldn’t keep up with the pace of new papers and updates, and I was missing important work. I had so many X bookmarks, LinkedIn saves, Research papers and blogs in Reading list which are yet to be read. I wanted a simpler way to stay on top of it and that's how Trisynapse started. I tried keeping them in Notion and Obsidian, but manually organizing everything felt like a slow process. I believe there are many people who face similar problem of information overload, considering how fast every field is growing with AI advancements.
