Remocn

Remocn is an open-source registry of video components for Remotion, the React video framework, paired with an agent skill for AI coding assistants. It is aimed at solo builders and small teams who need a product demo, launch or changelog video without a motion designer or a traditional video editor.

Components are added to a Remotion project with the shadcn CLI, so their source lands in the repository instead of a package. The catalog covers text animations, transitions, backgrounds, UI blocks and icons, plus a remocn-ui set of buttons, inputs, checkboxes, selects and dialogs whose states are scripted on the timeline. With the skill installed, an agent such as Claude Code or Cursor reads the live component index from remocn.dev and assembles the video from these pieces while the result previews in Remotion Studio in the browser. Guides cover product demos, launch videos, changelog videos, feature announcements and exporting an MP4.

Remocn is free under the MIT license, with source on GitHub and no account. It is not a hosted service: rendering happens on the user's own machine or wherever Remotion runs. Remotion is required and keeps its own license, and working without an AI agent requires familiarity with React and TypeScript.
