Screenshot Studio

Screenshot Studio is a browser-based screenshot editor for developers, designers and marketers who want plain screenshots to look presentable, without paying, signing up or accepting a watermark.

The main editor places an image on one of more than 250 backgrounds, wraps it in a Safari, Chrome, iPhone or MacBook frame, adds shadows and a 3D tilt, and exports PNG, JPEG or WebP at up to 5x resolution, or an animation as MP4, WebM or GIF. Separate editors handle code snippets (14 themes and 20 languages), posts from X and App Store screenshots. Standalone tools compress, convert, resize, crop and rotate images, and a background remover runs an AI model on the device. A public HTTP API with an OpenAPI 3.1 specification needs no key or account.

The separate image tools process files in the browser without uploading them. Exports from the main editor are sent to the vendor's server, recompressed in memory and returned without being stored; files over 4 MB, or failed requests, are compressed in the browser instead.

Screenshot Studio is free, with no paid tier, and is supported by ads on content pages. The project is open source under the Apache 2.0 license, with source on GitHub.
