From the shelf
nenspace: Turn Scattered Notes Into a Small Task List
Use a capture-and-review routine to separate ideas, decisions and next actions in nenspace without turning every note into a task.

A crowded notes folder often mixes three things: information to keep, decisions to remember and work to do. nenspace brings notes, tasks and a logbook into one workspace. Its working-memory features suggest organization, with changes requiring your confirmation. That makes a short review routine more useful than trying to design a perfect filing system first.
Capture the context, then extract the action
After a meeting, write a plain note with the project, date and outcome. “Discussed onboarding” will be difficult to interpret next week. “New users miss the import button; test a clearer label” preserves both the observation and its consequence.
Keep the meeting context in the note. Move only the next concrete action into your task list. A decision such as “support CSV first” belongs in the record even when it creates no immediate task.
- Underline the verbs in the note: ask, draft, check, send or decide.
- Give each real task a result you can recognize as finished.
- Add a due date only when there is a real deadline.
Review suggestions before accepting them
A suggested connection can help you rediscover a related thought, but similar wording does not necessarily mean two notes belong to the same project. Check the title, date and original context before accepting an organization suggestion.
At the end of the day, pick a small set of actions for tomorrow and leave the rest in their project context. The purpose is to reduce the time spent deciding what to open next, not to make the task count as large as possible.
Try one project before moving everything
nenspace lists web, iOS and Mac access, with macOS 13 or later for its Mac app. Test your normal capture and retrieval routine on the devices you use before migrating an archive.
The product distinguishes saved notes from AI conversations in its training policy; conversations have a separate opt-out setting. Review the current privacy controls rather than assuming every part of the workspace has the same handling.
