Common questions

Will this produce a software rich result?

Not by itself. This tool generates basic descriptive schema. Google’s software rich result has additional requirements, and even eligible markup does not guarantee a rich result.

Should I add ratings or a free price to the markup?

Only include verifiable information that matches the visible page. Do not invent an aggregate rating, review, or price to satisfy a validator. A free trial is not the same as a free product.
